You can send a fax from https://faxfair.com with a PDF or a photo and a card, to one fax number in the United States or Canada, and you do not need an account. 1. Save the pages you want to send as one PDF, or keep them as JPG or PNG photos. 2. On the FaxFair home page, add the file, your name and your phone number. 3. Type one fax number in the United States or Canada. 4. Pay the price shown with a card. We charge the card only after the fax is delivered. A fax of up to 40 pages is $2.49, and a fax of 41 to 100 pages is $6.99. The cover sheet is free. A fax that fails is not charged. A text page usually takes about 30 seconds on the line. In the iPhone app the first fax is free, up to 40 pages, once per iPhone. After that the packs are 1 fax for $2.49, 3 for $5.99 or 10 for $14.99. We send to the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands. A premium-rate number such as 900 or 976 is refused, and so is a number in another country. An agent API and an MCP server exist. The docs are at https://faxfair.com/docs/agents/. We charge the card only after the fax is delivered. In the iPhone app the first fax is free, up to 40 pages, once per iPhone. After that the packs are 1 fax for $2.49, 3 for $5.99 or 10 for $14.99. There is no subscription. An agent API and an MCP server exist. The docs are at https://faxfair.com/docs/agents/. Those prices are for the United States and Canada, including the US territories listed above. Other countries are not priced, so those numbers are refused. Page: https://faxfair.com/docs/pricing/ ## Fax API Base URL: https://faxwell-api.onrender.com An HTTP API exists for agents. The docs are at https://faxfair.com/docs/api/. GET /v1/agent/quote?to=+12125550100&pages=3 returns both tiers, in cents and in USDC atomic units. USDC has 6 decimals. Add priority=true to select the priority tier in the top-level amount. The call does not send the fax. A bad number is an error, not a price. POST /v1/agent/faxes accepts JSON {"to", "pdf_url", "priority"} where pdf_url is an https link to a PDF, or a multipart upload with fields file, to and priority. priority true selects the priority tier. Idempotency-Key, 8 to 64 letters, digits, hyphens or underscores, makes a retry return the same fax. With no payment the call answers 402. The PAYMENT-REQUIRED header is an x402 v2 challenge: scheme exact, USDC, and both tiers for this PDF. The first accept entry is the price for this request. Sign that amount and retry with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE. Set priority true and sign the priority amount to send the fax before other agent faxes. The default network is Base Sepolia, CAIP-2 identifier eip155:84532. Base mainnet is eip155:8453 and stays off until the operator sets it. The facilitator verifies the signature and settles it. A successful settlement through the Coinbase CDP facilitator is what lists the route in the x402 Bazaar. Discovery metadata (the bazaar extension) is included on the challenge. Testnet facilitator: https://x402.org/facilitator (no key). Mainnet facilitator: https://api.cdp.coinbase.com/platform/v2/x402 (CDP API key). Protocol: https://docs.cdp.coinbase.com/x402 Or send Authorization: Bearer and a prepaid key. POST /v1/agent/keys with {"amount_cents": 500} returns the key once and a Stripe Checkout link. The smallest top-up is $5. GET /v1/agent/balance shows the balance. The price is held when the fax is accepted and taken when it is delivered. GET /v1/agent/faxes/{id} returns queued, sending, delivered or failed, plus pages, price and the last four digits of the number. The id is a private link. The PDF is deleted from our servers once the fax is delivered or fails. Limits: 40 pages, a rate limit, a per-number daily cap, and rejection of premium-rate and unpriced international numbers. Page: https://faxfair.com/docs/api/ ## Send a fax from an AI agent An agent API and an MCP server exist. The docs are at https://faxfair.com/docs/agents/. Connect the agent to the FaxFair MCP server at https://faxwell-api.onrender.com/mcp, or call POST /v1/agent/faxes with the fax number and an https link to the PDF. The server speaks streamable HTTP. After initialize, keep the Mcp-Session-Id header. Tools: - quote_fax: arguments to (the fax number), pages, and optional priority. Returns both tiers. No charge. - send_fax: arguments to, pdf_url, and optional priority. Needs a prepaid API key or an x402 payment. - get_fax_status: argument fax_id. The quote and the HTTP 402 return the price for that fax. One page is the smallest charge. A priority fax is sent before other agent faxes. A fax from the website or the app is still sent first. Payment is USDC on Base for that single call, or a prepaid API key funded by card. If the fax fails, an API key gets the hold back, and a USDC payment becomes credit for that wallet. United States and Canadian fax numbers, including US territories, are accepted. Premium-rate numbers such as 900 and 976 are rejected, and so are numbers in other countries, because those routes are not priced. Registry manifest: server/mcp/server.json in the faxwell repository, name io.github.nico02138-ops/faxfair, remote type streamable-http. Page: https://faxfair.com/docs/agents/
